This version is actually cool, I think it's pretty good.. I actually like it better then the Beatles. The meaning of the song is fairly simple... Eleanor Rigby is an old lady, she is lonely so so many people in the world. The priest is writing the sermon for her "funeral." I would assume that he had murdered her.. why is that? Well I was thinking to myself and he could have done this thinking it was a good act, taking her away from her misery. Plus when it says she was buried along with her name, and that nobody came, it can refer to her being buried with nobody knowing she died *cough* MURDER. No one was saved could have refered to other people he may have killed, but that's my twisted view of the song. My other belief is how this song simply relates to how short life is. All the lonely people can relate to the people that have died.. think of.. tombstones, in a graveyard... rows and rows of them, compare it to people! Now these people are dead (lonely).. it could be as simple as that. I dunno, this song still remains a mysetery to it's proper meaning

LOL i never heard this song on the radio.. I never knew if it even was played on the radio or not haha, but I have heard it many times still... It's kinda a good song (oddly) though her voice and the guys voice make it hilarious! I do agree, it reminds me of Scary Movie cause it's so korny and sounds stupid. Then again the beat is kinda good. My favourite part is the chorus, everything else is bleh.

This song I am assuming refers to a past girlfriend of Gerard.. now I do not know if this is true or not, but I have read alot of places around the web that this song is based of an inncident of Gerard's. They say he had this one girlfriend in collage, then later on she went of and got married with this other man. Later on she cheated on her husband with gerard... is this all true? I have no idea... but this song has a lot to it! LOL my friend said at the part when it says "And the collision of your kiss that made it so hard," refers to something happening down in his pants if yah know what I mean haha... I doubt it but could it? lol

This is a great song (yes I am a guy and I like this song.. no I am not gay xD) It has a lot of meaning to it, and in no way is it antichrist... This song is so good, it's basicly saying the worst things you may have done, are now a thing of the past, and don't waste your life pondering over them, just change your lifestyle and enjoy the party(life) while you can.
