I just wanted to say that I know this song was written for Dan Snyder, but the world lost one of its biggest Tragically Hip fans yesterday. Darcy Robinson, also a hockey player, died suddenly at the age of 26 three minutes into his 3rd season with Asiago of the italian hockey league. I knew Darcy personally and it's a tough loss to bear. I immediately thought of this song when I got word of his passing. I'll never forget you Darcy. You made me laugh and smile more times than I can count, some of the best memories of my life involve you, and I truly know that heaven is a better place today now that you're there. Rest in peace, Darce. :( |
