| The Fray – You Found Me Lyrics

"It demands so much of my faith to keep believing, keep hoping in the unseen"
I think the song's about God. But he's not singing about "how great God is", I think he's singing about his faith and how hard it is to hold on to.
I think 3x3 has the right idea - Slade's talking to God as if He was human. The song's really emotional in a way that only the Fray brings along with their music. Along with that tone of insecurity they've always brought. |

| Panic! at the Disco – I Have Friends In Holy Spaces Lyrics

The more I think about it the more this song makes me think of 1930's gangsters and what not. "You carry a little piece with you." Little piece? Sounds like a gun to me. The second stanza when he says, "The news spread all over town." I think here he's talking about committing crimes. Also, when he says "You remind me of a few of my famous friends. Well that all depends on what you qualify as friends." His "famous friends" here could be referencing his fellow gang buddies. Of course, those so-called "friends" of his are called into question with the "that all depends on what you qualify as friends" line. |

The "rusted smile" part makes me think of yellow teeth, from so much cigarette smoking. I think this one is about drug addiction, and the consequences it brings in a relationship. "If you're going, then go." - I think this part is the obvious climax to their struggle. She's finally decided to leave, and he just provokes and taunts her. |

| Panic! at the Disco – That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed) Lyrics

The "Green" either refers to jealousy or greed. Agreeing with the above comments on the "breakup" meaning, and the "little deaths in musical beds" being about sleeping around, I tend to think of "Green" being about jealousy. I feel like this is Panic's answer to Mr. Brightside. |

To me the song is very spiritual, in the sense that "going home" means "I'm running back into the arms of Jesus." I can relate to that kind of meaning a lot. I heard this song being played on 99.1 the other day, a Christian station. |
