first, i think "count too many miles" is really "ive built too many roads" I think this song is about a guy who is in a relationship and suddenly finds himself talking to a girl whom he also likes and he cant decide what to do (built too many roads). i think he feels like he shouldnt like this other girl, but he cant help it even if he wants to (By the way she looked, I should have calmed down, I went too far). maybe he feels like he is/wants to be free from a world where there are more decisions than he can make. |
