this song to me is talking about how selfish people in the world today can be. Although there are starving people, wars, and crime...we can't seem to help them. Because we only care about helping ourselves, hence "help myself". And although those being selfish think everything is fine, things are slowing becoming worst [dangerous hours]. Good song though. |

one of my favorite beatles songs. George's best song next to "something" in my opinion. A lot of the lines in this song are based on Hindu ideas. That being said, i think that the line "life flows on within you and without" refers to that most peoples lives dont change the world, and that life will go on without us, because we'll come back thru reincarnation. |
