Every time I listen to this, all I can think is: "This sounds familiar..." This song could be facetious in some parts, but regardless there are some people who try their hardest to guilt the other party, and it seems like nothing you can do will satisfy them because actually you've done nothing wrong. This song gives me that vibe in a big way. |

Please tell me I'm not the only one who caqught the reference to "Your Song" by Elton John? "I'll write you a song And I hope that you won't mind Because all the names and places I have taken from real life" vs "My gift is my song and this one's for you And you can tell everybody this is your song It may be quite simple but now that it's done I hope you don't mind I hope you don't mind that I put down in words How wonderful life is while you're in the world" I thought that was kind of clever :-p |
