I'm not going to attach a deep, elaborate meaning to the entire song like others have, but I just thought I'd say that I appreciate the line "I think I'm dumb or maybe just happy." Most of the writers who are regarded today as geniuses had issues and were unhappy. Take a look at Hemingway, Poe, Syd Barrett, Brian Wilson, and even Kurt Cobain himself. All of them had major issues, and all of them are today considered geniuses. Maybe with that line Kurt is trying to say that it is better to be happy with your life, even if it means giving up that status of a widely respected artist. |

| I'm gonna have to agree with Haggis. Some people on here try to put big, elaborate meanings to Wesley Willis songs, but he real,ly was just a crazy guy with a casio. Though I do find bugmenot123's interpretation to be an interesting one, I highly doubt he was thinking of that when he wrote it. | |
