| Eels – Elizabeth On The Bathroom Floor Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I didn't know any of that. I found it strangely uplifting even though it was obviously a sad song.It just kept playing over and over in my head for three days. It was really odd. I had just assumed it was the heroin overdose of a dear friend of his. The music in contrast to the words seems soaring and peaceful. I like it. | |

| At first glance I thought it was about sex but when I read the lyrics for it (slightly different to what's written here) , the first thought was nope this is a ?heroin song if ever I've seen one. | |

He regrets it He forgets it And none too soon... Because he's closing his eyes and fading I've always felt that meant that the were only making peace because he was dying. He dies with all loose ends tied up and good for him. It feels like there's so many feelings swirling around that song. I have mixed feelings towards my Dad so it kinda touches something in me. |

| Harvey Danger – Why I'm Lonely Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Why I'm lonely - it's obviously a love song! :) solitude is not the same as singularity, but that’s not why i’m lonely. I think that refers to an unhappy relationship... but that they know their unhappiness is due to another reason. Like an unhappiness in themselves. |
