does anyone else feel like this song contradicts itself? the girl mouths the words to "am i wrong" (this is reference to the song by Brand New - Am I Wrong, about someone wanting the relationship to work out, but the other person doesn't share teh same feeling) and the guy says the whole love story is a lie. however, it contradicts itself in these lyris Dream a dream of our life story I will tell it over and again I'll tell the world just how you got that Got that perfect smile I can't withstand Let me kiss you index finger I'll point out how you've made me crazy I know I'd do it all the same way I'd do it all the same way sounds contradicting to me, but i could be missing something |

i think that the "snow" reference does go back to a cocaine addiction, particularly the part about "nursing a bloody nose," but i found these lines very interesting: (also, i could be wrong about this but in reference to the "summer heat," one of cocaine's short term effect is increased body temperature) We talk in our sleep But wouldn't dare to sit too close I can't be your prince Though your secrets are safe I am the mirror who can't let go as far as those lines are concerned, it sounds like the singer purposely tries to stick around while his friend is getting high, acting like somewhat of a guardian in terms of watching out for the girl. although he is with her, he doesn't want to appear too close to her because he realizes that he can't be her prince, the one who saves her. and although he realizes he can't save her,at the same time he can't let go of her. he tries to show her the effects of her addiction, acting like a mirror to reflect what she has become. |

I think Dimwit got it right in the beginning of the song. i hear the artist saying "there are thousands of things in this world i'm unsure of, but when it comes to you, i know exactly how i feel." this song is very beautiful. it's about a guy who feels a very deep connection with this girl, even though their relationship consists of just glances and eye contact. he wants to take their relationship farther, meaning he wants to actually get to know her and eventually become closer to her. great song =D |

i agree with you. this song deff has a good feel to it. it's about this guy who's in a relationship for two years with a girl and they're still sleeping with each other but they can both tell something's wrong because she's "acting like hes gone" and "its been weeks since they've been one" he wants to try again, but she keeps letting him down, so he's wondering if they can ever be just friends. |

i don't hear "into the mercy" at all in this song. to me, it sounds like angel of mercy. also, instead of "flying to nowhere is better than somehwere" i hear fly me to nowhere, it's better than somewhere. this song is great, great guitar riffs, and the lyrics are written well. it's about a a girl, who ends up becoming this guy's angel of mercy. he had become desperate and hardened, and he needed someone to start fresh with, someone who would forgive him for everything he did in the past. so the girl picks him up, and basically saves him from himself, and completly changes him in the best way possible, which was exactly what he needed. |

i can't believe no one has commented this song yet. it's very catchy with the 'you make me wanna smoke a cigarette' anyway, i could be totally wrong about this but i think it's about this guy whos dating this girl. popular, nosy girl who needs to know everything and everyone. and he's getting aggrevated because she's so perfect and acts better than everyone else and he sees it as being immature. but, although she has all these flaws, he can't forget her, and she doesn't want to leave him either. |
