amazing song for starters. i agree with you guys in that it's about him now wanting to leave. But i think it's got some deeper symbolic meaning, i think he doesn't want to leave the town because leaving the town = leaving his girl. shown by the line; "Youre not my girl you're my town". Anyone agree, or disagree out of interest? |
