This whole album is amazing because of the pain involved. It's so depressing but by far some of their best writing. I love this song because I can relate so much to the lyrics. Sometimes you feel like the world doesn't give a shit about you when you're going through major problems, and there are other people who are living perfectly fine. You just wish all those people could feel the way you do. This is Crossfades master piece if you ask me. ....Oh and everything else is pretty much correct in these lyrics except for: "There must be someone out there who can help me scream it out" It should be "There must be someone out there who can hear me scream aloud" |

| What "I'm gonna sing my way away from blue" means is that he is going to turn to music to help him get over his previous relationship. "Blue" is the same thing as blues and sadness so he is using music to help him get over his blues and I can deff. identify with that. | |

I think this song has to deal with their comeback from being gone for 7 years. If that is indeed what its about....then they sound pretty cocky about it. (I don’t want to fight Every single night Everything I want is in your eyes.) Pretty self explainitory that they're tired of fighting each other as a band and that they have reunited (You and me go back To places I don’t know to care The spoils of all I got were left as scraps.) Maybe this is saying about how they go way back to 1988 when they first started and that even though times were rough towards the break-up, they want to make a difference again in the music industry since all their old music has been played out and put on "Greatest Hits" records Overall I think that this song is about reuniting and coming back to a time when music thats on the radio really sucks. Its like leading a music revolution. Such an awesome song though, I cant wait for Zeitgeist. |
