This is my favorite song on her album. It’s deep. I think she is talking about having a sexual relationship with a guy and there are no feelings at first, then after a while she starts to get emotionally involved. She starts to need him. When the guy goes back to his girl/finds a new one, she is left emotionally damaged. Her tears dry on their own-that is great imagery. And I sooo hear “Ain’t no mountain high enough”, Do you think she might have done this on purpose to symbolize something? |
