Great song not much else to say. But i think it is about friends (boy and girl) that just spend a whole bunch of time together it is getting tough for them to be around one another because they know what could become (Relationship). But neither one is going to change(Being a FRIEND), BECAUSE "I'm as I've always been" hence no change and is not going to. "she's like she will always be" She is not going to change either, and he is never going to know why she is the way she is not wanting to be more then friends. They are trying to keep their friendship from "breaking" (end of relationship) But "you cant keep safe what wants to break". What he thought is that she wanted something that he could give, he was that, he did it for her "I thought I was something fierce I thought i was ten times smarter" it is what she wanted, but not perticularly out of him. "Love would be something that I just know" it is like an unfinnished sentence, not knowing how to finish it. "How are you gonna know the feeling until you lost it" it's what he is saying because he knows and is trying to explain it and how it feels to have it. "Maybe something else I'm missing something good and you're the reason It's a dream but there's a real world waitng" its nothing more than it is just a dream, i could never have it because its missing from real life, and that thing is her, he is waithing for it to happen in real life. By having the Chours throughout the song, it is representing that there is stll a chance in the end. BUT by having the chours in the end as well to end the song, it is saying that there is NO chance that it is going to happen. Because that is how she will always be, just a friend that is what he will always be, a friend. |

| I think that the song is about some of the changes a person goes throug in life and how they need to do something to fix what that changes has wronged. getting through everything just to keep going. "I'm reaching, Determined, succeeding". Its all about getting to that goal of making things better. | |
