i disagree. i think this song is about a guy who has hurt his girlfriend. "i cant find the moment you said goodbye" she dumped him because hes hurt her in ways she doesnt deserve "until sunday ill be waiting for an answer" he wants her back but she doesnt know if she wants him back "i hate this song because it was written for you" he hates that he has to apologize because it proves that he hurt her in the first place, and he cant stand that because he loves her |

| I think this song is about two people obvisouly in love with each other but the fighting has become unbearable so they part ways. however, they still care about each other more than he can say. but now they're both able to sleep, maybe beause things are not supposed to work or becuase they're so numb to feeling they cant weep | |

In the literal sense, she speeds up his personal self destruction (i.e. drugs, substance abuse) and he does the same to her.
