the meaning of this song to me talks about the concept of human sin, which is shown in the unedited video. it talks about how sin may seem attractive in the first place, but when it lures you in; it shows its ugly side and kills you, a little like romans 6.23 in he bibe which goes 'the wages of sn is death'. the singer in this song talks about 'not wasting a moment' on it and 'running away' |

the bridge is 'i bleed myself to wash your face and clearthe sin of human race'. Kinda reminds me of the crucifixion and ressurection of Jesus Christ, cos after charlie said that he fell into the water and came back up again; which symbolises his ressurecion from the dead. sorry if this is a load of nonsense but it is just my fiftypence worth. |
