Totally agree with what Neil said about this song!! But this song can be about what all the overpowering people in our lives (media, government, parents, school ect.) and how they want us to conform to their "perfect" idolization of how we're supposted to be... and all those people CAN GO TO HELL!!! LOVE THIS SONG, my second favourite after wake up!!! Good "getting pissed off" song |

This song has a bunch of mixed emotions of an abusive relationship that just ended. I like the other interpratations of this song, and I agree with most of it. A person who probably was a heavy drinker, used to abuse his/her gf/bf, and the bf/gf used to always get mad at him/her about it, which leads to constant fighting and arguing. Evenatually the gf/bf leaves them, and now he/she realizes how much of an ass they've been, and wants the ex back. I want to add that maybe of of the reasons why the person was a heave drinker was beucase his/her gf/bf was gone all the time and was never there for him/her. Which would mae sence for some of th lines in the song. LOVE this song..my favourtie from this album!! |

Like other people have said, Adam had said in concert that this song is about a ghost that haunted the recording studio that they were recording in during this album, I beleive he said somthing along the lines "There's was this ghost in our recording studio while we were recording this album, so we decided to write a song about her, her name was Emily.."..It's not an exact quote, but like i said it somthing along those lines.... I can see the other interpratations of this song (besides a haunting) are also really good, and is another way of looking at this song. and...THREE DAYS GRACE EFFIN ROCKS!!!! |
