To me, it sounds like the point of view of a person that people don't accept. She keeps looking in the mirror, and she see someone that would be accepted in society, but she doesn't like who that is, so she breaks the mirror and tries to put it back together, but it just keeps cutting her. She tries to show people who she is and wants them to accept it, but to them, she is an outcast, and they're acting like she's crazy and other nasty things because she is who she is; she wonders what people love: her reflection, the fake one that everyone likes, or the real one, the one that isn't accepted. In the end, she bleeds until she doesn't breathe anymore. I really wish people wouldn't treat other people like that; I feel like one of these people...in fact, I'm kinda one of them, one of the people that isn't accepted for who they are. Sometimes I think if I was someone else it would be better...but then I think I'm crazy, 'cause that's just a stupid thought. I like the way things are now. This song rocks, and it makes me cry sometimes. Beautiful. |

This song reminds me so much of one of my stories it's not even funny. And if I bleed, I'll bleed Knowing you don't care And if I sleep just to dream of you I'll wake without you there This line is so powerful to me...I almost cried the first time I heard this song...it gives me a lot of inspiration for my story. I basically agree with everyone here; either it's a boyfriend not caring about the girl, or her parents neglecting her. It's a cruel world we live in, I'm afraid... |
