| "WHY DO YOU LOVE TO SERVE THE MASTER WORLD?" | |

It sounds very much like "WHY DO YOU LOVE TO SERVE THE MASTER WORLD?" Which makes a lot more sense to me, in terms of being "SYSTEMATIC PEOPLE." |

| Muse – Time Is Running Out Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| IT is his dreams, hopes, vision in life. | |
| Muse – Time Is Running Out Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I interpret the lyrics as a deep infatuation with a girl, a relationship that saps him of all of his time, of his freedom. In this way the woman is 'burying/smothering' his dreams, his higher hopes and expectations, his life. As much as he loves (is addicted) to this woman, his time is running out. | |
| Nirvana – In Bloom Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The kind of people who don't understand the meanings of their songs, but they sing along just because it's popular or catchy, these are the kinds of people Cobain is talking about. The won't raise their kids right, their minds are so shallow that the weather changes their mood, they get horny during the spring -- in other words, they are a bunch of shallow sheep riding the bandwagon. This is what I take from it...I'm not certain about the other verse. I think it might mean that these people will keep reproducing, keep coming, bearing these damaged people, incomplete people -- "bruises on the fruit, tender age in bloom". That's my take, could be way off. | |

I is most likely about being completely infatuated with some one. The other things in life that you used to care about are being smothered, buried, cast aside, giving your love top priority. When you are single, you aren't bound to someone, and not just that, your time is also restricted when you are so completely infatuated with one person. Perhaps you have to give up your dreams: I wanted freedom Bound and restricted I tried to give you up But I'm addicted I think it's pretty straightforward. I think it's clever that he would refer to that person as if they were a drug, because they can have the same wonderful high and life-sucking effect. |

| The Delgados – If This Is A Plan Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
'anyway I wouldnt know where to begin' should be included after the first verse, btw... I feel like this song is about accepting your own terrible reality, but feeling relieved once you do. |

| It might come off as pessimistic, but in reality it's very optimistic. I love this song. | |
