I agree, it's about the overdose and about the situations he went in because of this...He says he gets up, ready to face the world but soon realizes he lays in disgust, in a pool of piss. He's mad to lose that special darkness but in the end, he ain't got nothing to lose.

he says that "compulsion drives me anyway" so I think he means that over the long agony of life you can't avoid compulsion and things that don't let you be yourself, that's why inside him's gone. |

I totally agree with Cloudconnected...the lyrics just say it...there are 13 angles standing on display. this number is an expressive one and explains it all...so those angels bring bad luck to him...they shake their heads and don't want to take him away nor help him...he's between being dead and alive and he can't find his place because he's lost along the way. also he says the heart's the only place he'd been with everything he needed...so it's everything's about this...the soul |
