I think it's about a girl who's been in a past.. or a few past relationships where she got seriously hurt by the other person in the relationship after she put her trust in them, then she finds a new boy who has NO intentions on hurting her, but.. in her mind he just wants to hurt her in the end, so she hurts him first. Maybe they ended up getting engaged and then she bretrayed him.. possibly not because she still thought he was going to hurt her, maybe just because she got into to it from fear of saying no to his proposal.."There goes my ring, might as well been shattered" Maybe even though he broke it off with her, he's still not over her.. and wants her back, now that she knows he won't hurt her like her past boys did. hahah I don't know if any of this makes sense what-so-ever. |

This is more than likely not what the song actually means, but i'll just express this thought anyway. Eating disorders. Hehe, told you it wasn't what it is.. But anyway. People with eating disorders sometimes feel trapped in their own body, and feel like their disorder has just taken over them and locked them up. "That keeps me from dancing with the one I love" Friends abdonding them because of the disorder, not being able to enjoy some things because of their ED, probably some more. I dunno. There's not much more that could relate to eating disorders, but I wanted to express this thought anyway. |
