hmm...i think the person singing wants to break up..but doesnt know the words to say it...they dont the person anymore, but they dont want to be quite alone, and they still like the person. (((i say they instead of a specific gender, alot.))) |

like most people, i love this song. alot.... this song, to meh, might be based off a couple that broke up. and one of them is still holding on to their feelings, or something. 'so are you listening? so are you watching me?' i think that one of them is wondering if the other still thinks about them. 'so you give up every chance you get, just to feel new again' meaning, maybe, that someone is forgeting the things they were, and trying to be someone completely different. 'it's really not your fault, when no one cares to talk about it, to talk about it' sounds like they didn't break up face to face and something else happened. and no one will talk about what happened. but...thats just my point of view... |
