lots of great ideas here! For me, i feel i know exactly what this song is about. I think it is about a couple, could be either his or her view point. Lets say it's from "his point of view; they are both aware the relationship is ending, yet neither saying "ok, its over", each for their own reason. Him because he truly loves her, her because she for selfish reasons. "so sick and tired of the needless beating" i think refers to their fighting, verbal abuse possibly. But he feels he loves her and can t let go no matter what, even though he can see the end, even though he knows she will just switch off her lovfe in the end, like the never even mattered. so sad. |
