shrooms make you really anxious, its poison to your body. even if its not really bad for you. i imagine he does a lot of writing sober (usually turns out better) or on acid. acid is a very though provoking and helps you express, doesnt keep it back. |

this is a love song. first he is telling her that whenever he is tripping and freaking out that she is his protecting force. later he discusses when he feels uncreative and cant write music he can go to her for insperation. then at the end he basically says, no matter whats wrong im happy with you. just my 2 cents |

ok, im not saying the song isnt a love song. but he obivously is taking it a step further than just that. he may be using it as both a metaphor for how she makes him feel, but undoubtedly he is talking about acid. if you are familiar with the drug the lyrics seem quiet... well "rosy and clear". |
