It's about consumerism... Apparantly...we did it in german... The chorus is essentially saying she exchanged her "Boring old life" for a new version... only the new version is faulty (or something similar) and she wants her life back Ich will mein leben zuruck = I want my life back |

Just a point..it's I live too fast..present tense, according to the cd booklet... The chorus sounds like he's saying..."I love you, but you aren't worth dying for" almost... I don't know :s Maybe the second verse is about suicide...the funeral that he will never attend is his own... and um... The bit about the light on...maybe it's like how he's in a coma or something...and dimly he's aware of things, but she isn't there? I don't know :S Those kinda contradict each other :S |
