ok so i was on paramores livejournal and they say something about hayley saying something in the very beginning? its pretty creepy when you listen to it at night, all alone in your room. haha. but if you listen very very carefully to the very beginning, the part that sounds like violins, you can actually hear her saying something, i just can't make out what anyone have any ideas? man just don't listen to it too many times its creeping me out.... |

this song is amazing. but i like the acoustic version a lot better then the original i think the actual point of this song (that he screwed up) gets laid out a lot better in the acoustic version i don't know about you guys but its just my opinion i like the song either way but yea.. acoustic is better. :) |

this song is really deep. first time i heard it i knew i was in love. secondhand serenade has always been one of my favorite bands. this song is sooo deep and it hits so close to the heart i love it. |

i love this song. i found it when i was going through some really rough times and i thought no one would be there for me. i realized that God can love me no matter what, and that even if i've done some pretty bad things, God will still love me, and He will still forgive me. This song made me love myself soo much more because i know that now that i live my life for God, he will love me with all of His life. |

well i don't really think it's about a breakup or love in that sence "With my wide eyes, I've seen worlds that don't belong. My mouth is dry, with words I cannot verbalize." "We're at war, we live like this." those lines pretty much make it obvious that this song is in no way about love or a breakup. i honestly think that this song is asking God to make our world better, to see what has happend to our innocense and to protect us from what might ultimately happen if we keep living like this. "Keep me safe inside, Your arms like towers tower over me." that line right there is personally my favorite line. it seems as though Hayley is asking God to keep her save. she uses the imagery of a tower to show that it is a higher being she is talking about, God perhaps. I absolutley love this song and paramore is amazing. i love RIOT! and all the songs on this CD are my favrotie. i love paramore perior :) can't wait till warped tour to see them :P |
