I heard she wrote this when she was 12, don't know if that's true, but it would be kind of cool. This is a song about how the girl thought that their relationship was so good, they could talk about anything and they were there for each other, but then he just dropped her and she lost that person to confide in, and 'you blew up the universe i built for us.' The lines 'And now I'm reminded That I was just blinded' make me think that even though she thinks of him sometimes, and hopes he thinks of what he's missing out on, she really is over him and sees that she was blinded to all of the faults of their relationship. Or maybe that's only my opinion. |

I love listening to this song, and reading the lyrics. It ties in so perfectly with how a lot of girls--and boys feel sometimes. The guy/girl they were with decides it's over and they can't get over them, and when that boy or girl comes back into their lives, they're more than willing to take them back. Even if that person treated them terribly. Great Paramore song, then again, all of their songs are great. |

First of all, I'm pretty sure that Hayley wrote this before Paramore, so it's not a Paramore song. And second of all, this song is amazing! The lyrics are self-explanatory if you listen closely but basically I think it's about a girl who fell into this boy's trap and he sort of liked to keep her all to himself. The lines: And you never said That you meant to save someone, Somebody just like me. And you never told me You wanted to love someone, Somebody just like me. seem to be saying that the boy didn't love HER, he was in love with the idea of someone like her, and she never really noticed it. "You swallow your pride as you're left behind Counting stars to name your lies You let the light push you away And now you're drowning in the waves." The girl has finally gotten rid of the boy and now he's thinking all about the relationship, all the lies he told her, and now how he's sort of 'drowning' in all of those mistakes. Not sure if this is what everyone else thinks, but I just sort of get the 'Girl likes boy, boy likes girls like her, girl dumps boy, boy realizes how the relationship was.' |

For some reason this song makes me think that he's talking about a girl who's been with a lot of guys(She has seen many come and go) but right now she's with him and he doesn't know how long it'll last(She’s like the horoscope that I don’t wanna know), but he's taking as much as he can get because he can she wants more than he can give. Or I could be completely wrong. Either way, lovely song. |

to me, this is one of the better songs on the album. it's extremely catchy, which most people are going to hate because they can see it playing on MTV if a video is made. i do hope they make a video out of this. i can see hayley acting out the character. character being a soon to be washed up celebrity. |
