"If you were me, could you defend the given rights to all the men?" Awesome song! This lyric is the one that stands out for me, though... the rest is self explanatory, but I think this has something to do with peoples rights being taken away, maybe it's a prediction of the future of the US? |

| I think that the "anti-depressants" are sort of a representation of all the quick-fixes in the world... like governments that can only think as far ahead as the next election, just wanting to sweep the real issues under the rug and spending ridiculous amounts of money on nothing. | |

This song is about Aspergers syndrome. There is no doubt in my mind... not a love song in the slightest. "There is no you! There is only me" He's not selfish, he's sick. Sick of people trying to change him. "I just made you up to hurt myself" Only a person with Aspergers syndrome would ever write this line, or be able to truly understand this line. In other words, it isn't just loneliness, it's literally that he doesn't have the ability to interact with people properly, so he feels that other people are just a part of his personality that he dislikes. And I'm sure all the drugs don't help this... |

This is a song about a girl he loves, but maybe she doesn't know it... or maybe they were together, but he can't let go. He sees this girl all over the place, and he's in a relationship with her, but she's not in a relationship with him. He's too afraid to tel her his true feelings, and so he lives in hope that no one else will ever have her, because he knows he can't. Well, that's what I can take from it anyway. Even if I'm wrong, this song is absolutely amazing. |
