I think this song is about love, and not just falling in love with someone, but the whole concept of love. "It's the simple things that are so hard to grasp," love is a basic human emotion, yet so many people run from it--and that's what he's trying to do--"can't find the road that runs through"--so as much as he's trying to NOT fall in love, he falls with his entire being. This one is my favourite. |
