| Saving Abel – Addicted Lyrics

Hah.
Buckcherry was hardly played until their new album.
Hinder and Buckcherry are about as opposite as you can get and still be in the modern rock genre.
Saving Abel is ver original. They have an almost (Hate to say it) pop kind of element in their music, but still manage to stay a solid rock band, nothing like Blink or Sum 41 (not to say I dislike them). Saving Abel is awesome. As for the song, he feels like he can't take the relationship anymore, but at the same time, he's "addicted to her", he can't leave her. |

| Crossfade – Already Gone Lyrics

I had interpreted this differently. When I heard it, I deteced a sense of sarcasm, almost. He's convincing himself of all the things he says, and he'll be the strong one. He'll show her that he can get along fine and he doesn't need her, but in all reality he's crushed inside and very upset. He's saying he's done with her, and he knows he should be done with her, but he still wants her, and he's trying to convince himself otherwise. |

| Black Stone Cherry – Drinkin Champagne Lyrics
| 18 years ago
|
|
He compares the women in his life to brandy and champagne, and he can't get over one of them. Champagne is a metaphore to all the other women, and brandy is the one he can't get over. And you can't have champagne taste like brandy, just like nobody will ever be like the girl he can't get over. |

| Buckcherry – Get Back Lyrics

As near as I can tell, he saw this girl, and said to homself, "Wow, she's the one for me." He gets all prettied up and they become close. Then she tells him that, either, "There's more people out there than you, and you're not the one." Or, "I can do better than you." Either way, he's crushed and he loves her very much. He remembers all the stuff and fun they used to have, and whenever he sees her, it kills him because he misses her so much. In the last verse he asks her to stay with him, he will love her unconditionally, he can show her that he loves her, and how much she makes him feel alive. |

| Audioslave – Yesterday to Tomorrow Lyrics

I think that the second verse somehow relates to Heaven and the afterlife.
"Far beyond the world of diamonds and gold."
- Beyond earth and it's material posessions.
"I have come to realize where ture happiness lies."
- Heaven?
Perhaps hes turning to a new life and becoming a better person. Just putting a different spin on it. |

| Theory of a Deadman – Better Off Lyrics

This song reminds me a lot of Nickelback's "Another Hole in the Head". Just because they're contracted under Kroeger doesn't mean that they songs hvae to be nearly identical. Don't get me wrong I like the song, and I like a Theory of a Deadman I like Nickelback, and I like that they sound similar in general, as I like this type of music, but the songs don't have to be lyrically similar. |

| Stone Sour – Through Glass Lyrics

I know what the song means accoring to the Stone Sour, but the first time I heard it, I interpereted it to be someone who is watching the life of someone else he desperately wants to be with, and this person not knowing their feelings. I'm not saying that they weren't friends or never talked, but that he looks at this person lustfully, and they don't know it. He looks at them through the glass, and it seems that despite his efforts, he can't get through to them. He gets acustomed to this lifestyle, and before he knows it, it becomes his daily routine, and he becomes used to the daily desires and lust. The person remains oblivious to his feeling, or chooses to ignore them. |
