The White Stripes – Icky Thump Lyrics 17 years ago
i agree with canek
and disagree with greatwhitebuffolo

your forgetting that we're in (some way) all immigrants, america is made up of different heritages from when they first moved over there.
what is with the big obsession of claiming posession of land??? get over it and share like nice little children
its pathetic and sooo arrogant.
its the same in england with our immigration problem but if people need help we provide not turn them away for them to die.
we're all human and just put yourself in there position, cause i know i'd want to move!

Tracy Chapman – Crossroads Lyrics 17 years ago
i think this songs talks about the media influence and how they write stroy's and take pictures and basically steal her life.
all she wants to do is write and sing songs that have meaning to them and does not use her fame just for the money.
she is trying to good but sometimes its hard because of the pressure of being a celeb

Radiohead – Fitter Happier Lyrics 17 years ago
we did this for a dance project.
we based it round model robots the the strive for perfection and constantly wanting to be better then anybody else.
the song is almost arrogant, saying this is what my life is, your nothing compared to me.

Muse – Feeling Good (Nina Simone cover) Lyrics 17 years ago
i think the song is about racism and the fight for equal rights.

as i said with the nin simone version, she is not the original artist.
the song's from a British musical about equal op's in mid 60's Britain the character that sings is is called "The Negro" which could suggest freedom.
another reason why nina simone did the next most famous version of it as she wrote and sung alot of songs about racism and status within America.

muse's version is te best i've heard of them all i love it and i love them!!!

Nina Simone – Feeling Good Lyrics 17 years ago
this song is great.
only thing is everybody is lead to beleive that nina simone was the original artist, she wasn't
the song is from a british musical called "the roar of the greasepiant the smell of the croud" and tackles issues about the class in England.

nina simones version is good but the original is piano based and has a slightly different tune
