Awesome doesn't even begin to describe this song. It's about letting yourself be heard and staying true to your ideals, even if it seems hopeless and bitter. |

How is there only one other comment on this song? This is my favorite ASOB song. The energy is just immense and the lyrics I think are those that anyone could reflect with, we've all felt this way before.
I just have one question, what is being shouted in the background after "Just send me off with a check"? It sounds like maybe "Count me out now" or something. I'm just curious. |

I think that the LAX part comes from an hardcore album released in the 80s, entitled either "LAX" or "This is Boston Not LA"
Then again I could be way off. |

This is an awesome song by one of the most awesome unknown bands that I have the pleasure of knowing about. This songs about keeping on and not giving up, doing what you love because you love to do it. |

I first heard this song done by some guy in the hotel I was staying in this summer in Ireland. I loved it, and had to figure out who it was by. Needless to say I am quite upset that I didn't know about Damien Rice before then.
Such a beautiful song. |

To me is sounds like it's about some kid who acts like a tough guy, and is constantly beating up on this other kid. Unfortunately no one ever does anything to stop it and one day the tough guys kills the other kid.
So going with that it seems to me to be about how violence in the youth needs to stop. |
