its basically about someone dieing. "all eyes on the calendar another year i claim total indifference" keeps denying it basically and trying to avoid it and "claiming indifference" trying to mask it. "devoted friends they disapear" friend dieing... i guess that its typical to cling to memories youll never get back agai nand to sort through old photographs of a summer long ago or a friend that you used to know and there below his frozen face you wrote the name and that ancient date and you can't believe that he's really gone .... that's just my take on it. it's my favorite bright eyes song. i used to listen to it all day everyday when my best friend basically ditched me i really related to this song llike losing someone but they didnt die but they were still out of my life |

this song is so amazing it's my favorite bright eyes song by far. noise floor is my favorite album of theirsss. i think this song is about a boy who called a girl, or a girl who called a boy, and it was an ex of theirs and like they just missed them a lot like you cant even control what you do sometimes because things just get to you and you think things are gonna be like good if you do that and call them even tho its just how you want things to be. and i think it's about past regrets like you let someone slip right by you and you cant get them back and you really regret it and are sad about it. it's just like about remembering the past and stuff ithink |
