| Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Zero Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I'm pretty convinced the song is about trying to be famous and make it as a musician. Your a zero. No one gives a shit about you, they don't care who you are, so you have to make a hit in the hopes of climbing higher. |

I swear if another person says this song is ABOUT cocaine I'm gonna lose my mind. It's a damn metaphor. and I hear "we all lust to live glamorous" or "we all lust to the glamorous" but I dunno about that line. |

| Regina Spektor – Buildings Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| this song reminds me of that movie with Meg Ryan where she is an alcoholic mother and wife and her husband constantly makes excuses for her problem until she finally goes to rehab. | |
| Iron & Wine – Flightless Bird, American Mouth Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| there's somthing about the title that just makes it extra beautiful. I like saying it. It's strange so it pulls you in and makes you wonder what the song is about before you even hear it. Beautiful title for a beautiful song. | |

| Third Eye Blind – Semi-Charmed Life Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
"I believe in the sand beneath my toes The beach gives a feeling An earthy feeling I believe in the faith that grows And the four right chords can make me cry When I'm with you I feel like I could die And that would be all right All right" this part speaks to me. HAHAHA! Ditto on what Konstantine said. I still love the song though. |

| Rooney – Blueside Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I just saw them perform last saturday and this was the first song they sang which happens to be one of my favorites but anyway, I agree with the ones who say that he is going to kill himself or atleast thinking about the meaning and value of his life. In the first verse when hes talking about "the colors" (that happen to be red) which represent something internal that he is struggling with that no one else notices or sees ("and nobody knows that they exist") After a while he finally realizes that the only way to end the pain he feels is to end his life, bringing his "blue side"; his peaceful, calm, dead side. Thats what I got out of it And then the second verse I think hes questioning his belief in God and whether he (God) agrees with how he's living and approves of the decisions he's made in his life thus far |
