Before reading all your posts here, I was thinking that this song had a political meaning, like the US's external politics. I don't know, it's just that the whole god-jesus-christian thing didn't cross my mind though i'm a christian myself. But then again.I guess your interpretations are better.
Anyway this is an amazing, absolutely beautiful song. I love her voice, and the vocals. last night I saw them live, they performed here in Athenns, Greece and I enjuyed them so f***** much!!!!! The stadium was 100% full, I almost passed out, it was so hot and crowded. It was an incredible night, Amy was great, and the new drummer is so hot!!!! I wish they visit Greece again... |

how on earth can a song like this be considered as the greatest song ever? Jesus, guys you are exaggerating. It is completely meaningless, foolish, dumb, and silly. I hate Nirvana, cause they are so overpromoted even after their end. there's nothing special about this or any of their stupid songs. I am 100% sure that if there wasn't all this myth around their name no one of you ( i mean the generation of the 00's) would even bother listen to them. Every single song of theirs ( I am expressing my view after listening to many songs of theirs- almost all) is only about the loser singer Cobain who can't even deal with his situation, he is mentally stressed and so, the only ones who can be identified with his songs are the pathetic lunatics of this world. There's simply nothing else about Nirvana. Just the experiences, thoughts, and fake-philosophies of Cobain.
pc: All you, Nirvana Freaks be sure that if Cobain had lived longer he would definately be absored by the hype, and now, would probably be a rich middle-aged man presenting MTV or reality shows. |

This song is really good, with nice rythm, catchy, as mentioned above, and many many other things. I love it! Especially when she sings ''under my umbrella, -ella,. -ella, hey, hey, hey, under my umbrella...'' It's funny, cause in Greek ''ella'' means ''come''(imperative). and it's like she says come under my umbrella! So cute. I'm Greek, that's why I know. Everyone here sings it, and it's funny cause ''-ella'' refers to something that has a totally matched meaning with the rest of the line!!!!!!!!! |
