Agreed - it's a description of his trials and tribulations regarding blow; however one interesting facet of the song comes through in the lyric "Privately divided by a world so undecided And there’s nowhere to go" Cocaine addicts turn in an automatic fashion towards the rush of coke to furfill themselves - it represents a lack of control, direction and drive that leads to the one thing that you know will satisfy, while simultaneously fueling, the empty insatiable feeling that sobriety brings - the 'well' cheers (should've had a guitar solo!) |
