Definitely my favorite song off their LP. I agree with sentimentalist that it has an almost optimistic feeling despite the kinda desperate lyrics. |

I'm probably going to get killed for saying this, but The General was the first Dispatch song I ever heard. I was in my friend's car and it came on his iPod through a random sequence of shuffle events. I've never been so amazed by a band since AFI, which is and has been my favorite band for almost six years now. Because of this song, I went out and got Bang Bang and downloaded many other random songs by them. Dispatch is incredible and this, because it's how I discovered them, is my favorite song. |
