Seems to me that Circa really regrets switching to a more mainstream label, and they can't make the music they want to anymore. sodidgewse has been saying this in comments on some of the other songs, and I can definitely see that as a consistent them throughout the album. "What was stolen from us, is now forever lost because we'll never pay the ransom." Their music was stolen from them, and now they won't (can't) pay the ransom (the massive breach of contract for leaving the label). Granted, I think Circa has done a fantastic job with Blue Sky Noise. While it's the lesser of their three albums, it is still undoubtedly Circa Survive and sounds fantastic. I really do like it. But man, if it's true, and this ISN'T the album they wanted to make, and it still sounds this good, I REALLY wish we could hear the album they WANTED to make. <3 Circa Survive |

The meaning is pretty self-explanatory; just read the lyrics. This song is beautiful. Might be might favorite from Victims. The way it's spoken just sounds so magnificent, and the way the song just builds up is great. |

This song is absolutely beautiful. I friggin' love Alesana! The fact that they can go from hardcore screaming (Which rocks!) to a beautiful slower song like this, and sound absolutely amazing either way shows how talented they really are. |
