This song really does it for me. A minute into it and I'm crying like a baby. It's a truly gorgeous song, about how forever is sometimes shorter than it seems. How you don't know how things are going to turn out, and how you should be prepared for the end yet enjoying every moment. The end of a friendship, of a romantic relationship, either one. I love it so much. |

I think that this song is about a girl who's in love with a boy. The boy loves her too. But everyone, especially the girl's family, is telling them it won't work, they're too young, relationships don't last at that age, they don't really love each other, all of that. But she won't listen. She believes that they truly love each other and can defy the odds that are against them. She doesn't want to hurt her family, but this boy makes her feel loved and alive, and she won't give that up.
