dude this song is actually about hell, it really isnt about war, its like a double meaning song. what the song says is that the sky is gone and the guy has gone under the sky where the flames have gone down but the promise of a new world "satan's promise" is fake so nothing but suffering. it says that ESPECIALLY in the line "Did you ever wonder why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky" So anyone who says its about war is right, but they only got a small part of it. |
