Grateful Dead – Franklin's Tower Lyrics 18 years ago
Help>Slip>Franklin's.....I think one line sums it up for me.....If you get confused listen to the music play. Music has always been and always be one of the greatest outlets and inlets for humans to convey meaning, thought and emotion. It doesn't take but a few notes of a well written verse to make a person laugh or cry and the beauty of it is two people side by side will do just that while the other does the opposite. Robert Hunter is one of the Greatest Lyricist ever, using every line to give us his insight and knowledge in the hope that we will grow from it, with it, and pass it along to another so that thought may grow as well.

Dave Matthews Band – Some Devil Lyrics 18 years ago
I don't know that Trey wasn't talking about his problem when he wrote this...I think the love in the song is more about his love for Molly among other things. If taken literally yes every one who has loved and lost has felt this way. I don't know but my first thoughts were of Trey and his troubles, The song is obviously about a troubled soul and so beautifully written that it is hard to not live in that pain, but also take solace in knowing that sometimes everyone hurts. I am grateful to enjoy Dave's soulfull voice even with a tear in my eye...
