| Group 1 Crew – Forgive Me Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| There aren't very many fans for Group 1 Crew is there? Well, to me this song is about somebody who is struggling [obviously] and they start to call out to God, because they know where they are and they need to be guided home. | |
| Breaking Benjamin – Dance With The Devil Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This is how I view the song: 'Here I stand Helpless and left for dead' This person is lost somewhere and can't find there way out and they're not dying per se, but it feels like they're left for dead because they were abandoned by everyone loved and they feel helpless because of it. 'Close your eyes So many days go by Easy to find what's wrong Harder to file what's right' A voice inside is telling this person that they always view something wrong due to a mental disorder or pessimissm and the person cannot find anything right in this world, causing a depression to form or something. 'I believe in you, I can show you that I can see right through all your empty lies I won't stay long, in this world so wrong' This person is being told that someone can see through them, see through whatever lie they make up. And the person that feels lost decides he wont stay alive for very long (suicide, pretty much) 'Say goodbye As we dance with the devil tonight Don't you dare look at him in the eye As we dance with the devil tonight' This person is going to kill themselves somehow, whether it be intention or not, but it's not really the devil, but something they view as the devil--like drugs, self injury or something self destructive. 'Trembling, crawling across my skin Feeling your cold, dead eyes Stealing the life of mine' This person had an abusive parent or was in an abusive relationship and so it felt like that person was 'stealing' away their life (controlling them, nearly killing them with any type of abuse) and the person remembers that abuse and starts to cut themself, leading closer to death... 'Hold on Hold on' They're finally at the death stage and they hear someone telling them to hold onto life, to not die yet, but at the end of the song, they die. - That's what my morbid mind interprets it as anyways. |

How come Manafest doesn't have very many fans? He is so wonderful!! But anyways, this song is obviously about kids who ran away and is thinking about what they did. Ha, so obvious, but still... But this song hits so close to home... |

| Kittie – Choke Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think of someone raping a young person when I hear this (the pedophile part), like a man raping a young teen girl | |
| Lecrae – Jesus Musik (ft. Trip Lee) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Perfect Christian rap...just like rap, only Christian. And the meaning I think is pretty obvious. | |
| Kj-52 – For The Ladies Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I agree with WishingForYou, this IS a good song. At least a rap song that encourages females to keep their clothes on, love this song. |

| Avril Lavigne – Girlfriend Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song is so annoying and stupid, but yet pretty much catchy and sometimes worth listening to. Plus, I think she's just making fun of relationships or something. I'm a fan of Avril, but, her new CD is a little bit of a disappointment to me (despite Keep Holding On is a good song off of the CD). The music video was pretty funny, but really mean though. |

| Pink – Conversations With My 13 Year Old Self Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
God...I'm reminded of myself when I was in fourth and fifth grade, where no one cared that my peers were picking on me and spreading rumors about me, which lead to very bad things in middle school. This song means a lot too me, especially the lines: 'The pain you feel is real you're not asleep but it's a nightmare' This entire song has caused me to cry alot...when I hear it, because I start to remember my past... No words can express how much I love this song, I'm so glad that Pink wrote this song... |

| Sarah McLachlan – Good Enough Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I read somewhere that it was almost like letter from a daughter to her mother, saying that she's better then him, that she's good enough for love not abuse. Like, the daughter is thinking it or something and watching the abuse and listening to all the excuses and then switches off the POV to a man who is watching from afar, saying that he'll be good to her... |
