| Fall Out Boy – Chicago Is So Two Years Ago Lyrics

when i first heard this i heard justin from motion city soundtrack at the end and just fell in love! fall out boy is a great band and this is one of their best.
i think it's about a break-up and the feelings that the guy associates with the girl afterwards. He hates her for cheating on him. Now that they've broken up he feels like this girl is waiting up for him at night at home in chicago. Just as he's starting to feel like he's done the wrong thing he remembers just how she hurt him and he realizes that it was the right thing to do. The whole song is about him fighting with himself over whether he really hates her or still loves her. He finally realizes that she just isn't worth it and that he made the right choice. |

| Daughtry – Home Lyrics

This song makes me think of someone who has been touring and is finding themselves homesick. They miss the emotional comforts of being home and around family and friends. I know that Chris Daughtry wrote the raw version of this song before American Idol even happened, but I think that his final experiences with making it finally allowed him to complete this song. I've been at college for three months without a single trip home until Thanksgiving, and this song explains exactly how I was feeling; I absolutely love my life at school, but I still find myself longing to be home sometimes. Amazing song. :) |

Amazing song, amazing band. This song is about wanting something so badly that you don't let anything stop you from getting it. It's also about asking yourself, "Is it really worth it?" and basically saying, "Yeah, I'll do whatever it takes, because this matters more than anything else to me." |

I agree with jdrlove: this song is about how people can save your life in certain ways and not even realize it. They make life worth it. |

| All Time Low – Six Feet Under the Stars Lyrics

i love these guys! this song is amazing!
I think it's about a guy who thinks that he isn't good enough for this girl he's with, but she's decided to hang out with him and give him a chance even though the night has been a little "embarrassing" for him and awkward. I think he's wondering why she hasn't left even after everything that's gone on, and he finally figures that he's got nothing to lose. The"room for two, six feet under the stars" means whatever happens happens and at least the two of them will go through it together. He's trying hard to impress her, but everything is going wrong. |

This song reminds me of someone sitting and talking with either a therapist and themselves. It’s like they want to be okay so badly and they are so wound up in that thought that nothing else matters. It also seems like everyone else around him wants him to be okay too, like his therapist, and it is just making everything worse. He is trying to push it all away because he doesn’t want to waste anyone’s time, and so he just tells everyone that “Yeah, everything is alright” because everyone is asking him in that “way”. The one where they expect a certain answer, and he doesn‘t want to cause any more trouble telling everyone what really bothers him. Someday he believes that he will be fine, but the song just continues like a circle where he feels fine and then suddenly, like anxiety, he doesn’t. It’s actually a kind of positive song to me, even though it seems kind of negative. He’s working his own problems out now and he’s really trying to move on, and he looks forward to the future now. Breaking with “tradition“, and the “process”, means breaking away from therapy and pills. For him this seems like it is a good thing. The song seems kind of positive and optimistic, so I believe it is a very uplifting type of song. |

On Long Island there's this road called Sunrise Highway that basically runs from Brooklyn to Montauk. I don't think the song has anything to do with the actual road, just the name of the road. The road runs east to west, which is why it's called Sunrise Highway. This song is probably about finding your way in life. |

I really think this song is about graduating high school. You're going off to college, and you're wondering, "Am I gonna make it?" Are you going to be able to handle it all? Once you graduate you feel like such an adult, and it's about that overwhelming pressure and the choices you have to make and deal with, and it's about assuring yourself that you can make it, and that you'll be all right. Great song!! |

I think that this song is about the pressures of being a band today, the publicity, touring, and trying to have a normal life. Also, I think it's about what music has come to today...((We want the airwaves back)). It's about the pressures, but it's also about how much they love it and the music, and that life IS about living it to the fullest. They feel they are getting to do this. Amazing song! :) |
