Over your head disappears .. is the crashing down of hollow years''. Once he sees ''the light' he reaslises the emptiness of teh past years.. could be a divorce situation.. I dont think its about suicide.. but I could be wrong |

I love this song ever since I first heard it funny enough only a few months back. I dont agree with Turato's statement on the meaning thou.. I believe the reference to war and soldiers is only a metaphor, and its more a broken heart/love song. You tear into pieces my heart
before you leave with no repentance - no remorse to the way you've treateed someone.
Like a rose It will fade away - the memories will fade. Well yeah that was my belief anyway.. |
