| Angry Samoans – Lights Out Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Lyrics are really wrong. Here: There's nothing more you can leave behind so forget about seeing and get into your mind evething looks better when the world is black Grab a fork, make your first attack Lights out poke poke poke your eyes out lights out put a pen in your hand and poke your eyes out I can't see too well, what's it all about? Well I dunno, man, did you poke your eyes out? Sure thing, I did it today! It's time to get hip to the lights out way! Lights out poke poke poke the lights out lights out let 'em drop on the floor and roll all about If you poke too far you'll reach the front of your brain A fork in your mind could rive you insane Don't worry much, just let 'er rip And donate your eyeballs to the lights out trip Lights out poke poke poke the lights out put a pen in your hand and poke your eyes out lights out poke poke poke your eyes out lights put an axe in your hand, poke your eyes out! |

| Bright Eyes – It's Cool, We Can Still Be Friends Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I love this song for some reason, despite it being a bit whiny. Near the end though, the part where he really gets emotional (on the verge of tears even), it always gets to me. That's probably why I like the song, because he can put in so much emotion like that, so genuinely. It's one of the few songs with such emotion that doesn't sound fake. |

| 7 Seconds – Sooner Or Later Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Wow, first comment? Well, all I have to say is, this song is so very powerful, kicks off the whole Good To Go album so well, and really grabs you by the throat and forces you to listen to its message. But to my interpretation of the lyrics: I believe he is telling another person, perhaps a friend or someone from a different political/social/religious/etc. view, that they only fight and make a fuss over their differences, while they instead should work together rather than fighting each other. Or, if that doesn't work, just give up and accept that they're different and it's "just how it goes." I guess the message is rather obvious, but there you are. Great, great song! |
