| The Beatles – Rocky Raccoon Lyrics

I agree with BossMan, this song is a little bit of a reference to Dylan. The name Rocky Raccoon itself is plain loaded with Dylan, from how Dylan was the icon of Folk Rock (the raccoon of rocky), and the young Bob Dylan's rodenty hair. In the song, Rocky gets "only a scratch" (the motorcycle accident) and "finds Gideon's bible" (the more religious post-crash Dylan album John Wesely Harding). Thoughts? |
