| Damien Rice – Fool Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Pretty obvious though(my new fav. song). She has cheated on him multiple times, and it has been slowly killing him inside. So rather thean be made to look a "fool" that stayed with an unfaithfull woman, he is forced to watch her go, even though this obviously saddens him. One line though, the last, "I'm close to giving up on you", makes me think this is merely "beer muscles", and when it boils down to it he probably will not tell her his true feelings. "On the stool"(at the Pub) he's close to giving up on her, but sober he doesn't have the strength. |

| Hate to be a buzz kill, but this song isn't as "romantic" as a lot may think. It's very much so about a guy who is loosing his patience with a girl that won't "put out". | |
| Lifehouse – Everything Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Well being an agnostic, I generally don't relate to "Christian pop" music, but for some reason Lifehouse gets to me. I knew the song was about god, but it's so beautiful I can't deny myself the privilege of listening to it even though I don't agree with what it's about. | |
| David Gray – Nos Da Cariad Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
"Hold on to St.Christopher The sky is murderous red Go to sleep my one true love Our glory lies ahead" St. Christopher is the Saint of travel if I am not mistaken. That being the case, I would assume that this lyric is representing the journey from life to death. |

| Damien Rice – Eskimo Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I always thought it was "Rain it wets, but erodes" As if you say with all good comes some evil. Guess I heard it wrong... | |
| Damien Rice – Older Chests Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Is that true pnkseashel? Sounds reasonable to me. | |
| Damien Rice – Fool Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I have it on his "Live Unreleased Singles" torrent, but it's only one verse. From what I hear, I like it... Anyone know where to get the whole song? | |
| James Blunt – Goodbye My Lover Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Regardless of the meaning, awesome song. i like the live version way better than the studio. He rushes through it so quick in the studio, it's not as dramatic. | |
| O.A.R. – Hey Girl (In Between Now and Then) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
"Hush little baby, don't say a word. I'd like to give you everything that you deserve. I'll give my heart, give you all my soul. You can have all my money, if you'd like it then have control. And my mind, it will miss you, everynight that you're not here. Oh, I just want to sit around your life and breathe your air. And if I cannot have you, I just don't want to live. Oh, I've got so much I'd like to give." Best line EVER! |

| Damien Rice – Dogs Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| TavisK , I tend to want every song to be about torn relationships, desire, and all around heartbreak because I guess that is what i am suited for. i tried as hard as I could to find some metaphorical explanation for the lyrics to this song, but your description just seems so rational, I have to agree. It is about a dog, nothing more. (Probably a nice dog) | |
| Damien Rice – Accidental Babies Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I agree with Antisheep, although I do feel that the realtionship is a secret, and it's disgraceful to he and his mistress. The term "accidental babies" is such an accurate portrayal of what binds so many unhappy relationships. Damien is clearly attached to a taken woman, and the feeling is mutual. He feels they must act on their emotions before one of them becomes pregnant and is "forced" to end their relationship for the more socially acceptable, less disgracefull path of marriage to someone he might not be made for. |

| Damien Rice – 9 Crimes Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Well I tend to feel as Bulletproof Cupid does on this one, and that being the case it 100% describes the situation I am going through right now. I listen to this song over and over, trying to make sense of all I am dealing with. I have to say, Damien Rice is my best friend right now. | |
