I love her voice in this song. This is what White Chalk should have been; I'm not talking exact duplicate, I mean, as far as minimal instrumentation, passion, sad/fucked-up tales, and interesting vocals. Love it! (Though to be honest I did really like White Chalk, just thought it had lots more potential). |

I agree indiethought; even if it's a silly song (which this isn't at all for me) Tori used to be able to put enough emotion and still keep her voice amazing for it to just make an instant connection with the listener. Anywho... is it me or do people just cut and paste from other lyric websites... or is it the same people putting them up everywhere? |

I actually think it's "There's still time to save/ The falling hearts of our children." Anyway, beautiful, passionate song. The b-sides from this era saved Uh Huh Her from being too much of a disappointment for me.
This is an impassioned plea to let the pain and hurt go and open up the lines of communication and appreciate the memories and each other like never before. But most of all it's time to move forward! Gorgeous. |

I think the concept of the album X is kind of brilliant; why it would be a good idea to break the ten commandments, so that each song relates to a different commandment. This one of course is referring to "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
It just really bugs me that I can't find their albums anywhere else but their website. Ah well. |
