Lady GaGa – Telephone (feat. Beyonce) Lyrics 16 years ago
I went so far as to slow the song down to make the make the transcribing easier, and it sounded like "Hurtin' my head..." etc.

The lyrics have been updated, including: "*I got* my head and my heart on the dance floor", as they are, right out of The Fame Monster book.

Skunk Anansie – Selling Jesus Lyrics 17 years ago
Yes, the message that "they're selling Jesus again, they want your soul, and your money, your blood and your votes" mentions the outright greed that comes with preaching religion.

Having said that, the "love-love-lo-love" part at the end of the song is the catchiest I've heard in any song, since hearing it for the first time in the trailer for the movie 'Strange Days'.

Eleni Mandell – Tristeza Lyrics 17 years ago
Being in the city and not having too much knowledge on automobiles, I asked Eleni during an instore gig: "So what's a chrome BSA?"
"It's to do with motorcycle rims" she replied.

Eleni is just a lovely down-to-earth lady, Wishbone is one of my all-time favorite albums, and this is my all-time favorite of her songs. The saloon piano that closes this song is a nice touch, and the way it launches into the explosive 'Meant To Be In Love' is perfect.
But as for the actual meaning of this song? Good question.

Kelly Clarkson – One Minute Lyrics 18 years ago
It's a good one to dance to.
Chantal Kreviazuk co-wrote this song. The "ah-ah-aaah"s at the 2 minute mark are very much her musical style, and the catchiest part of the song.

Gwenno – I've Been Searching Lyrics 18 years ago
Such a pleasant, catchy, feel-good song, simply about finding the right person after so long.
Of course, if it hadn't been for The Pipettes, I wouldn't be typing this right now.

The White Stripes – I'm Slowly Turning into you Lyrics 18 years ago
The beat, the organ, the solos, the multitude of voices saying "slowly turning into you", the la la la's at the end... amazing stuff, and lyrics a lot of people in a relationship can relate to.

Billie Myers – Should I Call You Jesus? Lyrics 18 years ago
Well it's a question of faith without sounding like a complete heretic, obviously.
But the version on my CD has slightly diff. lyrics:
It doesn't kill
Or violate
It isn't vicious
Full of hate

Then there's some words at the end that are edited out altogether. Weird.
