Hot doses of heroin aren't something that you find from a dealer usually, at least not to the fatality point. Some dealers will cut it with others things (like fentanyl) but that rarely leads to death; usually just getting really sick or overdosing. I don't doubt that it was planned, but I don't really know what exactly to think. I wish someone knew exactly why it happened, because the best musicians are the ones to go. |

I'm not at Skynard fan at all, but after hearing the Deftones version of this song, I grew a whole new appreciation for any version. I actually think the serenity in this version is what catches me the most.. it's beautifully done, I love it. |

I agree with everyone that says it's in line with the story the album tells. One thing I adore about aic music is that he knows how horrible drugs are... addiction is fucked up and can quickly ruin your life... I hate how lots of musicians promote it and make it seem like it's the only good thing in life... I spent a while of my life convinced I was born to stick needles in my arm and it's hard to kill that mindset when you've lived it for so long. Whoa, rambling, but I just wanted to say that I think it's so realistic how aic shows the different sides of drug use. |
