I think he is tired of unrequited love (enough of danger) and is looking for that special someone(looking for angels). Perhaps he feels compelled to let this person he is with that she should let him know what is going on because he wants to avoid pain, anguish, and heartbreak again. His "teacher" must be an older woman who he has fallen for already and he feels the danger lurking once again as it has happened once already. He doesn't want to learn that he's been cheated...again.... I love this song I can relate so well to it..... |
